  • 1 Tea Infuser Teapot

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Caramel Tea Latte Base

  • Tea Bag Irish Breakfast Tea
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1/4 Cup Milk

Chocolate Caramel Tea Latte Toppings

  • 1/4 Cup Whip Cream
  • 1 Tsp Honey
  • 1 Tsp Crushed Graham Crackers
  • 1 Tsp Grated Caramel (or Caramel Syrup)
  • 1 Tsp Grated Dark Chocolate (or Chocolate Syrup)

Instructions
 

Chocolate Caramel Latte Base

  • Add 2 cups of water to the Teapot
  • Add 3 tsp tea to the tea infuser and insert it into Teapot
  • Turn on the stove to medium heat and leave the pot for 3-5 minutes or until the water is hot
  • Optional: Lightly Heat Milk on Stove Top using Stovetop Warmer Pot
  • Froth Milk with Frother
  • Pour the tea into a cup, followed by the frothed milk

  • Add whip cream to top of the frothed milk
  • Drizzle Honey
  • Sprinkle Gram Crackers, Caramel, and Dark Chocolate on top of Whip Cream (Optional: Replace grated caramel and dark chocolate with caramel and chocolate syrup)

Notes

  • If wanting Decaf Tea, then use Rooibos Vanilla Tea. 
  • If Vanilla flavored tea is unavailable, add two drops of Vanilla Extract to the milk base before frothing.

Whip Cream: One of the key ingredients that we incorporate in this recipe is whipped cream. 

Its primary purpose is to enhance the tea latte’s visual appeal while contributing to its smooth and creamy texture. Adding whipped cream lends a delightful flavor to the tea, making it a perfect addition to this beverage.

Honey: To sweeten the tea latte, we use honey as a natural and healthier alternative to refined sugar. 

Honey adds a subtle sweetness to the beverage and complements the tea flavors and other ingredients used in the recipe. 

Furthermore, honey has several health benefits, such as being rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties, which further add to the drink’s nutritional value.

Crushed Graham Crackers: We added crushed graham crackers as a crucial ingredient while preparing this recipe. It is necessary to finely crush the crackers to blend well with the tea and not settle at the bottom. The Graham Crackers’ texture should mimic a powder substance.  

Grated Caramel (or Caramel Syrup): There are two ways to infuse the caramel flavor in the Tea Latte. First, grate hard caramel and sprinkle it on the whipped cream. 

Grating caramel and sprinkling it on top enhances the beverage’s visual appeal and allows it to blend slowly with the tea, adding a delicious flavor to every sip. 

The second way to add a caramel flavor to the tea latte is caramel syrup. This method imparts a strong and distinct caramel flavor to the tea, making it an ideal option for those who prefer a more pronounced taste.

Grated Dark Chocolate (or Chocolate Syrup): Just as we did with the caramel, you can add the dark chocolate to the latte either by grating it, allowing it to slowly seep into the tea to give it a subtle chocolate flavor, or by using chocolate syrup for a more robust taste.
