East Quarry Trail
The Easy Quarry Trail is a 5-mile trail that offers incredible scenery. The track does loop; however, due to the distance, it requires more time to hike the entire route. Furthermore, the pathway is used for both hiking and biking.

Glacial Grooves

The Glacial Grooves is a unique attraction located on Kelleys Island, Ohio. The Glacial Grooves is a geological preserve that features the outlines of glacier grooves from over 18,000 years ago. The Glacial Grooves are 400 ft long and 35 feet wide by 10 feet deep. 

In addition to the Glacial Grooves created from Glaciers, the geological preserve contains marine fossils from 350 – 400 million years ago.

Kelleys Island Wineries

Kellys Island features three different wineries, each having its own unique features. The three wineries on the island are the Monarch Winery & Butterfly Box, Crooked Tree Vineyard, and the Kelleys Island Wine Co.

Monarch Winery & Butterfly Box

The Monarch Winery & Butterfly Box is a winery with a unique twist. The winery features a 1,800-square-foot greenhouse with gardens, butterflies, and a koi pond. In addition, the winery also has a turtle lagoon, an ant farm, a reptile, and an amphibian exhibit.

The Monarch Winery & Butterfly Box is unique as it combines nature with wine. Allowing for a great experience to explore the variety of butterflies while sipping on wine and enjoying the company you are with.

Crooked Tree Vineyard

The Crooked Tree Vineyard is located on 5 acres, offering a cozy and peaceful winery environment. Furthermore, the vineyard has outdoor seating that overlooks the vineyards. The winery features locally handcrafted wine. While here, stop by the tasting room to try different samples of wine.

Kelleys Island Wine Co.
