Ingredients Used in S’more Tea Latte

S’more Tea Latte Base

French Vanilla Bean Tea: We used French Vanilla Bean loose-leaf tea in this recipe; however, if you cannot find French Vanilla Bean loose-leaf tea or a similar type of tea, we suggest trying Irish Breakfast Tea as an alternative

We suggest substituting with Irish Breakfast Tea because it adds a rich and robust tea that pairs well with milk and sweeteners, making it an excellent choice for a tea latte. Furthermore, it is easy to find at the local grocery store.

However, if you can’t find Irish Breakfast Tea, you can experiment with different kinds of tea that can add a unique and exciting twist to this classic beverage.

If you choose an alternative to French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea, it may not have the vanilla flavoring this recipe requires. If using a substitute tea without vanilla flavoring, add a few drops of vanilla flavoring to the tea latte base to achieve the classic vanilla taste that this recipe requires.

Be sure to taste the tea latte before adding additional sweeteners, as the vanilla flavoring may already provide enough sweetness.

Water: Water is a crucial ingredient in making a tea latte. It infuses the tea leaves or bags and extracts their flavors and aromas. The temperature and quality of the water can significantly impact the taste and quality of the tea latte.

Milk: To achieve the perfect texture for a tea latte, we use a milk frother to froth the milk.

The frothing process creates a smooth and creamy texture that adds flavor and richness to the drink.

The frothed milk is poured on top of the tea, creating a velvety texture pleasing to the eye and the palate. This step is essential to creating a well-crafted tea latte that is both delicious and satisfying.

S’mores Tea Latte Toppings

Marshmallow Whip Cream: In this recipe, we use Marshmallow Whip Cream to elevate marshmallows’ flavor, a crucial aspect of a S’more Tea Latte.

Marshmallow Whip Cream is usually available at your local grocery store; however, if you cannot find it, then making it is the second best option. It is super quick and easy to make.

To prepare Marshmallow Whip Cream, combine heavy cream, vanilla, and marshmallow fluff and whip them together until they form a light and fluffy consistency.

This creamy and sweet topping is the perfect addition to a tea latte, adding a decadent and indulgent touch to the drink. With its delicious marshmallow flavor, this topping will satisfy your sweet tooth and take your tea latte to the next level.

Crushed Graham Crackers: One of the secrets to making this recipe stand out is crushing the graham crackers into a powder form.

Finely crushing graham crackers to a powder form allows the crumbs to quickly absorb into the tea and blend seamlessly with the other ingredients.

The result is a well-balanced and flavorful tea latte with a subtle hint of graham cracker flavor in every sip.

Grated Dark Chocolate: To add a layer of decadence to this tea latte recipe, we recommend finely grating dark chocolate on top of the Marshmallow Whip Cream.

The grated chocolate slowly melts into the drink, adding a rich and indulgent chocolate flavor with each sip. Finely grinding the chocolate allows it to melt quickly and blend seamlessly with the other ingredients.

Finley grated chocolate creates a harmonious blend of delicious and satisfying flavors. So, if you’re a chocolate lover, try this recipe with grated dark chocolate on top for an extra special treat!

Other ways to incorporate a chocolate flavor include drizzling chocolate syrup on top of the Marshmallow whipped cream or adding Cocoa powder directly to the hot tea.

Marshmallows:  Tiny Marshmallow pieces can add a delightful and whimsical touch to your tea latte. These little marshmallows can come in different shapes and colors and can be used to enhance the visual appeal of your tea.

Common Questions:

What is a Tea Latte?

A tea latte is a delicious and soothing beverage similar to a coffee latte. However, instead of using espresso as the base, a tea latte infuses tea leaves or bags in hot water.

After brewing the tea, add steamed milk to create a creamy and frothy texture. Then top with your fixings, such as whipped cream, chocolate, and marshmallows.

The best part about tea lattes is that you can customize them to create your own version. Even if you have never tried it, a tea latte is worth trying!

The result is a creamy, flavorful drink that will satisfy your cravings. So why not try a tea latte and enjoy a relaxing moment of peace with each satisfying sip?

Can I make this an iced tea latte?

Yes! Iced Tea Latte is super easy to make. After seeping the Tea Leaves for the designated time, you will leave the cup to sit on the counter to cool to room temperature.

Usually, it takes about 30 minutes for it to get to room temperature, then add to a cup full of ice and top as you would a hot tea latte.

Pro Tip: Don’t seep tea leaves or bags overnight; it can cause the tea to taste bitter.

What is in French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea?

The French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea ingredients were black tea, organic black tea, flavors, hand-cut vanilla bean, green tea, coconut, and almonds. We bought ours at a local tea market.

However, every manufacturer’s ingredients may differ. So please check on the back of the box or with the manufacturer you purchased from.

Is French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea Caffeinated?

Tea can either be caffeinated or decaffeinated, depending on the manufacturer.

To determine whether your French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea is caffeinated, check the back of the box or contact the company you purchase from.

Confirming the caffeine content before consuming tea is always a good idea, especially if you are sensitive to caffeine.

Can I use an Alternative Tea from French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea?

If you cannot find French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea or a similar type of tea, don’t worry! There are plenty of other options available.

Irish Breakfast Tea is a great alternative that you can use. This type of tea is known for its rich and bold flavor and works well with milk and sweeteners, making it an excellent choice for a tea latte.

Feel free to experiment with different types of tea until you find one that suits your taste.

You can explore new flavor combinations using various types of tea and create a tea latte suited to your taste preferences. So, experiment with different teas to find your perfect tea latte.

However, it’s important to remember that if you use an alternative tea to French Vanilla Bean Loose Leaf Tea, it may not have vanilla flavor.

If the tea you substitute with lacks vanilla, add a few drops of vanilla flavoring to the tea latte to achieve that classic vanilla taste.
