Anderson’s Winery and Vineyard
Come and enjoy a glass (or bottle) of wine at Anderson’s Winery and Vineyard in Valparaiso, Indiana. The winery sits on 40 acres of land, allowing plenty of room to explore.
Another great feature of the winery is the ample seating with an oversized outdoor patio. Enabling you to sip on your wine while enjoying nature. They also have hammocks and picnic tables by the pond. Allowing for a scenic backdrop while you drink your wine in peace.
Come on out to Anderson Winery and sample their wine. Tastings are from Tuesday – Sunday, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. There is a large selection of white and red wines for you to choose from. In addition to wine, they also have a selection of beer to choose from.
If you get hungry, then be sure to check out a food menu. Food consists of Paninis, Flatbread, Nachos, and Dips. If you come on a Sunday between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, you will experience live music.
Anderson’s Winery and Vineyard can also cater to events such as weddings, anniversaries, college graduation parties, and corporate events. Check out their website to learn more about the event space.
Oliver Winery
Are you looking for a scenic winery in Bloomington, Indiana? Then look no further. Oliver Winery offers breathtaking views of beautiful gardens. The winery provides ample seating with a covered patio and deck. There is even a picnic table around the pond. Therefore, allowing you to sit outside and relax while sipping on wine.
Oliver Winery also offers wine tasting in the tasting room to sample different wines for a small fee. If you have never been here or want to try something other than your usual, then the wine tasting is perfect!
In addition to wine tastings, Oliver Winery offers free 30-minute wine tours on weekends. Allowing you to get a behind-the-scenes look at how to operate the winery.
After the tour, pick up a bottle of wine and your picnic package (if ordered prior) and enjoy your picnic outside by the gardens. Don’t forget to bring a blanket for the picnic.

Picnic Includes
• Two-hour reserved patio seating for up to 4 people
• Cheese, meat, chocolates, and accompaniments
• Souvenir wine tumbler for each guest
All are packed in a basket with plates and utensils (basket, plates, and utensils must be returned).
The picnic package is a perfect way to come in and purchase a bottle of wine, get your picnic basket, and enjoy your time at the winery! Oliver Winery has scenic views and a fantastic garden while you sip on wine and enjoy the time with the ones you love.
Important information:
Picnic Packages should be ordered at least 5 days in advance. A valid ID is required to drink alcohol. All equipment must be returned undamaged. Picnic Packages must be claimed within 30 minutes of your scheduled time. Picnic Packages must be canceled within 24 hours of the expected date for your allocated time slot.
Tour Information: If you plan on going on the tour, please wear closed-toe shoes.
Lastly, dogs are allowed on the premise as long as they are on a leash. Due to healthcare regulations, dogs are not allowed in the tasting room or production floor.
Fruit Hills Winery & Orchard
Fruit Hills Winery & Orchard is located in Bristol, Indiana, and is a family-owned establishment. While here, you can expect breathtaking views of the Bristols’ rolling hills. The winery also has a spacious deck allowing for plenty of seating. From Mid-May to Mid-September, you can experience live music on the deck.
Another great aspect is the tasting room. Allowing you to taste a variety of wines for a small fee. With a large selection of white and red wines, you will surely find something to drink. Be sure to get a glass of wine and sit outside to enjoy the scenic view.
Hunter’s Brewing
Come grab a beer on tap at Hunter’s Brewing, located in Chesterton, Indiana. With over 18 rotating beers on tap and bottles and cans, you will find something delightful to drink. With beers rotating on tap, you can try different beers throughout the year. If you are not a fan of beer, then be sure to try a wine or cider.
Please note the bar area is strictly for adults 21+. However, seating for those under 21 is available in the dining area and outdoor patio.
While at Hunter’s Brewing, try the homemade food items that are freshly prepaid for you. Menu items constantly change, so check the website for an updated menu. However, you can expect foods along the lines of Sandwiches, Wraps, and Pasta. Come out and grab an adult beverage and some food. Don’t forget to purchase a can of beer to go for later.
Hunter’s Brewing is 100% plant-based.
Pets are not allowed inside or on the patio.
