About Triple Falls Trail

Triple Falls Trail is a short and sweet hiking trail, measuring only 0.3 miles long and taking approximately 10 minutes to hike.

Despite its short distance, the trail is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Buffalo National River, attracting both tourists and locals alike.

The trail is well-marked, making it easy for hikers to follow the pathway to view three beautiful 48-foot-tall waterfalls.

The best time to visit the waterfalls is after heavy or continuous rain, typically during spring. The waterfalls have the heaviest flow during this time and offer a spectacular sight.

However, during the summer season, the waterfalls may dry out, leaving just a little trickle. Therefore, the best time of the year to see the falls is spring!

Lastly, dogs are prohibited on the trail, so leave your furry friends home for this hike. Triple Falls Trail is the perfect hiking destination for anyone looking for a quick, easy adventure with breathtaking waterfalls.

Getting to Triple Falls Trail

The direction you take will depend on the city/town you are coming from. From Eureka Springs, Arkansas, take AR-21 S to AR-43 North to AR-74 East and drive to Camp Orr Road into Plumlee Township.

The drive-in and out are steep and may become muddy after heavy rain, so it is recommended to have good tires or 4WD to avoid getting stuck.

Even on a dry and humid day, the roads can be tricky, and cars have been known to get stuck. Upon entering the road to the trailhead, signs recommend using 4WD, so be sure to use your best judgment when driving to Triple Falls Trailhead.

In conclusion, Triple Falls Trail is a unique and breathtaking hiking destination offering a short, easy adventure with spectacular views.

The trail is well-marked, making it easy to follow the pathway to view the stunning waterfalls. Triple Falls Trail is a must-visit destination if you’re looking for a quick and easy adventure with stunning waterfalls.
